General Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for moving services between Karlo Transporte (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as "Client").

§ 2 Contract Formation

The contract is concluded by written or oral order confirmation by the Contractor. Offers by the Contractor are non-binding unless expressly marked as binding.

§ 3 Services

3.1 Scope

The scope of services to be provided results from the order confirmation. Additional services are charged separately.

3.2 Client Obligations

The Client is obligated to:

• Provide all necessary information in time
• Apply for no-parking zones if needed or arrange through us for additional cost
• Keep access routes clear
• Mark particularly valuable or fragile items separately

§ 4 Prices and Payment Terms

4.1 Prices

All prices include statutory VAT. Prices are based on information provided at the time of order.

4.2 Payment

Payment is made after completion of service in cash or by bank transfer. For larger orders, an advance payment may be agreed upon.

§ 5 Liability

5.1 Transport Insurance

The moving goods are insured during transport. Liability is governed by statutory provisions and the General German Forwarding Terms (ADSp).

5.2 Exclusions of Liability

The Contractor is not liable for damage to:

• Improperly packed moving goods
• Self-packed goods if damage is due to inadequate packing
• Items transported by the Client themselves
• Damage due to force majeure

§ 6 Appointments and Deadlines

6.1 Scheduling

Agreed appointments are binding. In case of inability to attend, the Contractor must be informed immediately.

6.2 Cancellation

Free cancellation is possible up to 7 days before the agreed date. For shorter notice, costs may apply:

• 6-4 days before: 25% of order value
• 3-1 days before: 50% of order value
• On the day itself: 100% of order value
